Cat Sitting
Our Services > Cat Sitting
Our in-home cat sitting services in Morris and Somerset counties give your cats familiar surroundings, a calm routine, and the one-on-one attention they deserve.
Because cats do best in the comfort of home
Cats are creatures of habit. When their environment changes, they often hide, stop eating, or act out. Boarding facilities can be overstimulating, and asking a neighbor to “just stop by” may not provide the attention or consistency your cat needs.
With WALKS WIGGLES AND WAGS, your cats stay at home where they’re happiest. Our trained cat sitters visit on your schedule to handle feeding, litter, cleanup, medicine administration if needed, and companionship. Whether you have a social butterfly or a shy hider, we tailor our care to each cat’s comfort level and needs.

FAQs
How often should my cat have visits while I’m away?
We require at least one visit every 24 hours for adult cats and two visits per day for kittens, senior cats, or those on medication. Regular check-ins help us make suer your cat is safe, fed, and comfortable, and also lets us catch any changes in behavior or health early.
What happens if my cat hides or won’t come out?
That’s completely normal, especially at first. We’re trained to recognize feline stress and will approach your cat calmly and respectfully. We’ll still check food, water, and litter levels to confirm your cat’s wellbeing and include notes in your visit report.
Can you give my cat medication?
Yes. We can administer oral or topical medication (like pills or ointments) as long as your cat can be handled safely and without stress. We’ll follow your vet’s directions closely and confirm each dose in your visit report.
How often do you clean the litter box?
We clean according to your preferences - daily, every other day, or at the schedule you request. During visits, we always check the area for cleanliness and odor, and we’ll tidy or refresh litter as needed based on your plan.
Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?
Yes. WALKS WIGGLES AND WAGS is fully licensed, insured, and bonded. Your home and pets are protected, and our employees are trained professionals who follow company safety and communication standards.
